Summer Social 2008

The Rotary Club of Truro held it's annual Summer Social at the Shortts Lake Cottage of Richard and Maralyn Bowness July 9th. One of the highlights was the visit by a Dragon Boat

A good time was had by all! Our summer social was a huge success thanks in large part to our gracious host and hostess Richard and Marilyn Bowness!

Over 40 members and guests attended a great party with fantastic weather and some interesting concoctions at the bar... As usual everyone pitched in to provide a wonderful variety of food and Al Begin offered to supervise President Ed to make sure he didn't catch himself or the steak on fire!

Thanks to all that contributed and helped with the clean up. We have a great club and we certainly are doing our part to keep Rotary fun!
