The 4th annual Rotary club of Truro's Swim for Polio across Shortt's lake will happen Aug 13th starting at 10:00 am.The event will raise money to contribute to the End Polio cause. With only 6 new cases world wide so far this year, the end is in sight but we need to keep the pressure up to eliminate this dread disease forever.
If you are going to swim (or just want to come and "spot" the swimmers) please register. You can also support the event by making a contribution to Polio for one of the swimmers. Details for the event can be found on the events page.
This is a fun event and a good lead in to the summer social.
