The Rotary Club of Truro is pleased to have inducted a new member at the Club meeting on June 11th. Terry Pook has been a Rotarian since 2002 and has moved to Truro only a month ago from Ontario. Her most recent club there was the Rotary Club of Grand Bend. Before she retired, Terry was a Nurse Practitioner Specialist in HIV /AIDs. She has been on several NIDs in India and Africa. She is interested in International and local service work.
Terry is married to John, has 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 1 dog.
Rotary has been a big part of Terry's life and she stated how happy she was with the reception she had received since moving to Truro and how she looked forward to being a member of the Rotary Club of Truro.
