Sarah Porter, Program Coordinator for Junior Achievement Nova Scotia in the Truro area spoke to the Club on July 22 about the various programs of JA.  The JA programs are a natural for partnership with Rotary as we have similar goals in the Vocational Service area.  In fact club members have been active for many years and are still volunteering their time in delivering the programs in area schools.
Shown in the photo thanking Sarah is Rotarian Andrew MacDonald, who has volunteered with the JA program for the past two years and described it as a very worthwhile and satisfying opportunity for service.
Please see the JA Nova Scotia website for further details on the programs.
